An Estimated 1.5 Million Tons of Nonwovens Used in Wipes last year

According to a report issued by Smithers in December 2021, an estimated 1.5 million tons of nonwovens were used in wipes throughout 2021, with a value of $20.6 billion. For the European market, an estimated 518,700 tons of nonwovens were used in 2021, and the figure is expected to rise to 700,000 tons in 2026, with the market size expanding from $6.7 billion to $9 billion.
