New Finnish Collaborative Program Aims at Growth Opportunities in Nonwoven and Textile industry

A new collaborative program named Future of Nonwovens was recently established in Finland to help the Finnish nonwoven and textile industry become a leading player in the field of innovative, sustainable nonwovens.

One of the missions of this project is to establish a Center of Excellence to enhance collaboration between partners within the nonwovens value chain. The particular tasks for the project include developing airlaid material prototypes from novel fibers and binders, developing bio-based and thermoformable airlaid-reinforced composites and identifying new business opportunities for sustainable nonwovens.
